Who I Am
Firnvane is a web design, SEO, and lead tools business based in Sarasota, Florida. In this policy, "I" and "me" mean Firnvane.
If you have a question about your information, email alex@firnvane.com and I will answer it myself.
What I Collect
When you fill out a form on this site, I collect what you type into it: your name, company, and industry, your email address and phone number, your estimated revenue range and the service you are interested in, and your message along with your consent to be contacted.
Like any website, the hosting platform also records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. I also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages, buttons, and forms people use, including your approximate location and device type. I do not ask for payment details, account passwords, or government IDs through this site.
How I Use It
I use your information to reply to your inquiry, scope the work you asked about, and send a proposal if you want one. If you become a client, I keep it to run the project and handle billing.
I do not sell your information, rent it, or use it to build advertising profiles.
Who Else Sees It
This site is built and hosted on a third-party website platform, and form submissions pass through it. I also use an email provider to read and reply to messages, and Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. These companies handle your information only to provide their service, under their own privacy terms.
I may share information if the law requires it, or to protect against fraud or abuse. Outside of that, it stays with me.
Cookies and Tracking
This site does not run advertising pixels or retargeting trackers. It uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to tell visits apart and measure traffic, along with essential cookies the hosting platform needs to keep the site working.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on, and the site will still work. If I add other analytics or marketing tools in the future, I will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How Long I Keep It
I keep inquiries for as long as they are useful for answering you and keeping a record of our conversation. Client records are kept for as long as needed to support the project and meet tax and accounting requirements.
You can ask me to delete your information at any time.
Your Choices
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also tell me to stop contacting you, and I will.
Email alex@firnvane.com with your request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and I will honor them.
Children and Changes
This site is for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from them.
If I change this policy, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top. Questions about it can go to alex@firnvane.com.
